Allen Leser-innen meines Blogs wünsche ich noch verspätet ein gutes neues Jahr. Ich war in der Zwischenzeit nicht wirklich faul, hatte aber keine Lust mich mit dem Fotografieren meiner Projekte zu beschäftigen. Dennoch habe ich zwei Paar Socken gestrickt, darunter eines aus selbstgesponnener Wolle, nämlich die Soul Windows Socks.

Dann habe ich mir noch selbst ein Weihnachtsgeschenk gemacht. Es hat mich nämlich immer genervt, dass ich beim Stricken so schlecht lesen kann, weil immer das Buch zuklappt. Die Lösung heisst: E-Book. Ich hätte gerne den Kindle von Amazon gehabt, aber der hat leider keinen technischen Support in Europa. Daher fiel die Entscheidung auf den Sony E-Reader 300 pocket. Man kann wirklich ganz prima darauf lesen. Freie Klassiker wie Dickens, Poe etc gibts umsonst im Internet, aktuelle Bücher zum Download kosten meist weniger als gedruckt. Und endlich kann ich damit mein Urlaubsgepäck reduzieren.....

A Happy belated New Year to my readers. I was not lazy the last weeks, just don´t wanted to take the time to photograph my projects. I knit some socks, some of handspun Merino in the Soul Windows colourway.

Then i decided to treat myself with a new toy. I always wanted to knit and read at the same time. But the book would constantly try to close up. So the solution was an E-Book-Reader. I would have loved to have a Kindle, but there is no technical support in Europe, so i bought a Sony Ereader pocket. This thing is so much fun. I like it. And think of not having to take 10 books for vacations along but your whole library.
